Every 1st of December is globally recognized as World HIV/AIDS day and it is celebrated in a way to continue the fight against HIV in many counties across the globe.
Celebrities over time are some of the figures who have been at the forefront of fighting HIV. Some of these have succumbed to the disease, some are living with it while others are speculated to have the disease.
And in their capacity as celebrities, creating awareness is one of the ways of giving back to the public. Many of these have over time displayed their results publicly or declared their status.
Faridah Nakazibwe taking to her Twitter page said that she’s HIV negative and it’s time to create awareness.
“Congratulations on being HIV negative. Now, support the one living with HIV,” Faridah posted.

However, her followers were not contented. They wanted a video of her doing the entire test and showing the results.
“Show us the results,” said one of her followers.
“How do we know you’re negative, we want video.” Said another.
“Naye kati how is this picture related to the information you are trying to convey to the public, my sister.”
