A cement mixer truck with registration number UAN 836D lost control, crashing into the barriers in the middle of the road before colliding with a Mitsubishi RVR with registration UBQ 371P on April 17, 2024.
The incident happened at Nkumba University traffic lights along the Entebbe – Kampala expressway in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District.
The occupants of the Mitsubishi are presumed dead and their bodies are still trapped in the wreckage.
None of the occupants of the Subaru had been pulled from the wreckage of the vehicle by the time of publishing this story.
Security forces are using breakdown vehicles were still making efforts to pull down the crashed vehicles.

The driver of the Cement truck is said to have moved out of the car and went to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
